Virus Scan 8.6 Mac: Trial License has Expired

If you receive an error that the trial license has expired after installing Virus Scan 8.6 for the Mac, the cause is most likely having a previous version of Virex that was not completely removed from the system.
To fix this:
  • Double click the VirusScan Uninstall.command file located in the Virus Scan installation folder.
  • Supply your Mac OS X administrator password when asked.
  • Restart the computer.
  • Re-install Virus Scan.
